An extra special
festive treat for all the family! A Christmas Carol,
undoubtedly the greatest Christmas classic of them
all, is here re-told on stage with magical special
effects, amazing spectacle, wit and original music,
not forgetting Dickens’ powerful language, humour
and warmth.
Hard-hearted Ebenezer Scrooge discovers the true
spirit of Christmas during one unforgettable night
in Victorian London. Visited by the ghosts of
Christmas Past, Present and Christmas Yet To Come,
Scrooge is taken on a fantastical journey during
which he is forced to confront the choices he has
made and the lives he has affected: his former
business partner Marley, his put upon employee Bob
Cratchit; Fred his ever cheerful nephew; childhood
sweetheart Belle; Mr Fezziwig and of course the
immortal character of Tiny Tim.
Given a final opportunity to atone for his mistakes,
Scrooge turns his back on his old self and embraces
life, kinship and the true spirit of Christmas
Adapted by Susie McKenna with an original score by
Steven Edis and directed by Simon Godwin this
touching and poignant story is dramatically brought
to the stage in a musical extravaganza which will
thrill, inspire and amaze the child within us all.
