Pulling Focus Ltd in association with the Tiny Young Theatre Company presents
FANNY AND FAGGOT
by Jack Thorne

In 1968, an eleven year old girl, Mary Bell was convicted of killing two infant boys, Martin Brown and Brian Howe. The case was a media sensation. The fact that such a young girl could have murdered two little boys electrified the country

Fanny and Faggot is about two distinct moments in the life of Mary Bell: her trial when accused of the killings and her escape from the open prison in 1977, when she spent the weekend on the run in Blackpool and lost her virginity.

Leading writer of Channel 4's Shameless and Skins, Jack Thorne is one of Britain’s foremost contemporary writers. His adaptation of Let the Right One In is currently playing to wide acclaim in the West End; now his gripping two-part play, comes to the Tabard Theatre this summer for a strictly limited one-week run.

Press from previous productions:
Jack Thorne is hot... a darkly gripping achievement,
probing the most horrifying extremes of human behaviour
with compassion and a rigorous moral and intellectual curiosity
