Ahir Shah is a person. He enjoys standing in front of rooms full of strangers and telling jokes about politics and other things that he likes. Most of the time people laugh, which is nice. Sometimes they don't, which is alright because if everyone agreed with everyone all the time we would have no need for politicians, and therefore a significant portion of Ahir’s humour would be rendered obsolete.

STEVE HALL

As a solo live performer Steve Hall has provided the support for Russell Howard on his twice extended sell-out national Adventures tour and, after taking his own new solo show Vice Captain Loser to the Edinburgh Festival in 2008, supported Russell again on Dingledodies, a second national sell-out tour.

A finalist in the BBC New Comedy Award and Daily Telegraph Open Mic Award, Steve Hall made his fringe debut in 2003 in the sell out Edinburgh show, Three Men and a Giant. Steve has since returned to The Edinburgh Festival, with four critically acclaimed sell-out shows, as part of the if.Comedy Award nominated sketch group We Are Klang.

The controversial sketch trio has gone on to win huge critical acclaim. With We Are Klang Steve has won a Spirit of the Fringe Award, and been nominated for Chortle's Best Sketch Show Award and Melbourne Festival's Barry Award as well as appearing in Saturday Night Live Again (ITV), Music Hall Meltdown (BBC Four) The Wall (BBC Three) and Edinburgh and Beyond (Paramount Comedy).

As part of We Are Klang Steve most recently wrote and starred in the groups eagerly anticipated sitcom series for BBC Three.

Steve recently supported Russell Howard on his autumn arena tour ‘Big Rooms and Belly Laughs’.
