As seen on Russell Howard's Good News, Mark
Cooper-Jones is an exciting emerging stand-up
comedian, a Chortle Best Newcomer Nominee,
as well as one third of the highly acclaimed
sketch group WitTank.
Alongside his fellow WitTank members, Mark was
one of the stars of BBC3's Live at the
Electric, contributing as both a writer and
performer. They have enjoyed six years of
sell-out audiences at the Edinburgh Fringe as
well as numerous gigs and comedy festivals in
the UK and Ireland. They have received a Best
Show Nomination at the Leicester Comedy
Festival and appeared on, 50 Funniest
Moments of 2014 (Channel 4), Three At
The Fringe (BBC3) and BBC Radio.
Hotly tipped as ‘One to Watch’ (Londonisfunny.com),
Mark performs stand-up around the country. With
much of his material derived from his past
experiences of teaching Geography, Mark (Sir) is
an authoritative stand up with a penchant for
rules, countries and capitals tests.
Following a successful run at the Edinburgh
Festival 2014 (one of the Guardian's top 5
newcomers) Mark is bringing his Geography
Teacher show to The Tabard Theatre for one
night only!
"Meticulously structured... fabulous lines and
the delicious attitude of an emotionally stiff
Englishman"
Steve Bennett, Chortle
"A confident performance from someone on the
cusp of stardom and a joy to watch"
